Thai Toothpaste advertisement from 1939.

Lion Toothpaste is from Japan. It’s still around today, and it’s still sold in Thailand, although it’s come in a lot more varieties than it did back in 1939.

If anyone who can read Thai ever sees this, I’d appreciate knowing what it says above “You must use Lion brand toothpaste.” I can make out some of the words there, like “charming,” and “white teeth,” but the fonts (and maybe different spelling) make it hard for me to figure out the rest. Also, the เก๋ “gay” there must come from English, but what does it mean here?
