This is from the cover of a magazine called “Liberation Literature and Arts.” What a great image!! But 1) I can’t understand what she is carrying, and 2) I don’t get the last line. I think it’s “ái vĩ ta.” Before that it says “Advance to complete victory.”

“at ve ta” – literally “will definitely return to us,” so “[victory] will definitely be ours” – is that what it’s saying?
I think he’s got the bazooka (or is that a rocket launcher?). She looks like she’s holding a tree trunk. . .
I got “she” and “he” confused. I think she’s holding an equipment (radio, maybe?) covered in leaves just like the man’s back. Definitely not a tree trunk :))

yes, of course, sorry for my poor English, I mean magazines that have been published in transitory periods; Van nghe giai phong didn’t last long, it will be replaced by other more “normal” ones, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone using the term “tạp chí giai đoạn quá độ” anyway
in this period of transition from war to peace, I’m interested in some magazines or reviews which existed in the South even after the “Advance! Victory will surely be ours” 🙂 such as Đứng dậy (alias Đối diện), the articles just after Avril are simply very interesting historically
